100 Days of eating right

I admit it, it wasn’t my best idea and broke my rule of “Don’t be dumb.”

After grabbing groceries, I decided to grab a burger from a crappy fast food joint to save a little time.  The end result was I spent a couple hours of a fantastic day where I was being extremely productive in bed, curled up and feeling like crap.

With spring here, the healthy natural foods will soon be flowing from gardens everywhere.  Thus I’ve decided to initiate 100 days of eating right.  From now until my birthday in September, I plan to attempt to eat healthy 5 days a week.

I’m a realist.  I know I am likely to go out drinking with friends and end up eating crappy every once in a while.  but the goal is to minimize this; to only eat one or two bad meals a week. Also, it feels a lot more attainable, and thus I’m more likely to succeed.

This starts now.  Making a salad for dinner, trying to somewhat salvage the day.  The hard tays will be the ones I am out of town, but there are healthy options if I look for them.

Let the fun begin.
